I obviously do since I am voicing these concerns. I'm not trying to set lap times or lateral g records in a X5 M. Just getting up an icy slope occasionally.

The new look is rather dissapointing than I initially expected. It is less agressive and sort of boring looking. I think it looks much better in a darker color. The facelifted 2016 Cayenne GTS is much cleaner and sophisticated looking. I wonder why BMW couldn't use the front bumper and rear bumper from the M3/M4 on the X5. The old E70 X5 M was more agressive looking than the E92 M3. This time around, the M3/M4 is more agressive looking than the F10 X5 M.

I fully understand that you may see an occasional cold climate area. If you look at the purpose of any ///M automobile is performance. You would expect BMW to put the best tire for the performance desired out if an ///M. The good thing is if a person chooses to move to an all season they can. Just like the ones who drive their ///M's year round in multi-season environment can switch to a all season or run winter summer sets.

The common complaint is "this is a AWD SUV and it is purchased for snow abilities. I completely agree if your talking 50's/35's but not an ///M.
