Lease Deals Thus far?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hey Guys,

I'm in the process of finalizing a lease on a x5m that's about to go into production. I'm buying through my usual BMW contact/dealer, getting a great deal I think as these guys are good friends of mine: 1K off a 110msrp, 5k down, buy rate, 36/10 at $1500 per month including tax.

Just curious what other folks are getting? Again I think mines a solid deal just wanted to get a feel for what others are seeing.

Cheers!

Chris

I think I got a great deal. The dealer took $6750 off of my sticker of $112,450. Lease is 1549.47 including tax. This is for a 36 month lease with 15,000 per year. Money factor is .00130 . $3136.66 due at delivery. Donning ton grey with black interior. I did not get the night vision or the full leather interior. Thoughts on the full leather interior?

That's not a bad deal at all - close to invoice in fact, and buy-rate finance. I think full leather adds a degree of decadence to the interior.... if you're in for $112k, you may as well be "all in" ;p

What would the payment be with 10k a year? Just trying to gauge if I want to get a X5M or the 50i.

My quick-and-dirty math of a 10k/yr lease with zero down at 3yr/36k miles on a "well specced" vehicle (~$110K) at MSRP has a lease running at $1489/mth + tax.

Residual isn't as good on the M models, you won't get as good a discount for a while, and they're more expensive. I'd expect to pay $400-$600/month more for the M over the 50i.

To those that are leasing the X5M, are you guys doing MSDs? It saved me about $100 p/m on my M5 payments. It was an $8k hit upfront (which I will get back) and it will save me $3600 over 3 years. Can't go wrong with that kind of return.

This sounds right to me but I also heard that the M residuals now are better than when the first X5 and X6 M came out.

Also, some states let you do multiple security deposits that you should try to take advantage off, they reduce money factor by 0.00007 each so you can take the interest down by up to 1.18%.

Agreed. The residuals are better this time around (X6M is 60% on a 3yr / 30k mile lease for example, and it was in the low 50s with the 2014 model). MSDs also a great way to reduce payments if you've got a surplus 8-12k floating around otherwise not earning interest

Yep. residuals are up

36/10K is about 60 and shed addtl point at 12K and 15K

The depreciation is steeeep year 1 and 2 (they will shed about 20k a year) but then will flatten to about 10k a year with miles in check

My last year x6M residual was 57% on a 10k lease. 60% is great.

the lower E7X residuals took into account risk of new model and then new model release pending

Thanks man ðŸ‘Â

I pulled the trigger on the lease

Got 1K off msrp, put me at 1500 per month 36/10.

Only option I didn't go for was extended leather and night vision. Otherwise it's pretty loaded. Will be a good stable mate for the m6gc. Goes into production this upcoming week. Dealer thinks it'll be here by mid-April. Can't wait!

Thanks guys,

Chris

$6750 off msrp sounds great. Has anyone else seen anything close to that? I haven't gotten anything close in N.Y.

Under invoice or msrp?

How are you getting under invoice on a car that hasn't been released yet???

Especially an //M that is backordered?

It pays to be loyal. I've bought a dozen cars from my CA and referred countless friends. Even though he's on the east coast and I'm out west I'm still giving him my business.

Plus he also took more off as a kind gesture when I lost my original allocation.

He can afford to not make a profit on one vehicle. Back ordered or not, the dealer sets the price.

Did you use a broker? 7.5K down and another $5K off the MSRP, seems a bit high no? But you did get 15K miles per year.
