Will wheels from 2011 X5 fit 2015 X6M?

I own a 2015 X6M and have an opportunity to buy a nice set of staggered aftermarket wheels that were previously mounted on a 2011 X5. Will they bolt onto my 2015 X6 M?

Should I be concerned about backspacing or offsets to make sure they clear big caliper brakes on the M?

No, E70/F15/F16/F85/F86 share exactly the same rim parameters. As soon as your aftermarket rims are made according to BMW specs - you should be fine.

The only potential issue are TPM sensors - E70 and Fxx use the different ones.

Maybe true, some are not compatible but some are. The TPMS I used on my 2012 E70 snows works on my 2017 F15.

They didn't fit. Fronts rubbed on the caliper.

Sorry to hear that. With aftermarkets it's always some risk that they are made with different parameters than OEM.

What size were they? I’ve heard that the 19” rims will not clear the M brakes.

I had a E93 335i that we bought a used set of aftermarket rims and winter tires for. Even though the rims were the same size and same offset as elm, they did not clear the calipers. A rim could have the correct size and offset, but have a different drum shape than oem and thus not fit, like the ones I purchased.

I thought the m version has smaller hub bore size in rear. Would need hub rings.

I’m glad they didn’t fit.
