Rotors

First brake change is coming up for the X5 and I'm debating if I should replace the rotors and pads or just pads. Car has around 50k. What are you all doing for the first brake change?

I did ECS slotted and perforated rotors and Akebono ceramic pads ( stock rotors are known to have rust issues). Better look, no rust, no dust.

Exactly what I did on my Z4 a few years back - still love the combo and the dust reduction was STAGGERING. The loss of initial bite was worth it and now that I am used to it, I actually prefer it.

The dealer resurfaced mine and replaced just the pads. That’s also an option.

I just bought a set of power stop drilled slotted rotors with ceramic pads from a member on here. Got a awesome price for them.
