Exhaust flaps

Is it me or?
In Efficient Engine mode the flaps open at above 3000rpm.
In Sport/+ Engine mode they are open all the time.
Am i correct? In early reviews i've read that even in Sport/+ they open above 3000rpm

I am curious to know too, on my old 650 they wouldn't open until 3000rpm in sport mode as well. But that wasn't an M.

Based on first hand experience, I can tell you that even at idle/just above, there is a noticeable difference in exhaust note between comfort and sport/sport+.

i would be surprised if the flaps weren't always open in sport/sport+.

That being said, I've been wrong once or twice before...

The same i've exprienced, on Neutral, even revving it until 2500rpm you can feel the difference beetween Efficient/Sport

Absolutely.

It's amazing how the engine/transmission basically keeps the rpm between 1000-1500 when driving mellow around town. Doing 30mph in 5th! But step on it and watch out... First car I've had that demands respect act WOT (and I had a pretty wicked 335 for a while...)
