Debadge
For those of you that have debadged, the X5, does anyone have any pictures of the rear X5 emblem debadged?
So far I've taken off the xDrive35i door badges and im considering taking off the X5 badge but wanted to see how it would look. Thanks |

If you are being serious, my response would be who cares...
Lot of people already think my X5 is a X3 based on the back LED lights and overall appearance of the rear. People that are somewhat familiar with the BMW brand will know the difference.. and people that are enthusiasts like us will know right away which model it is.... IMO a debadged car looks clean without the model numbers and engine size and model line. Some people like the badges and emblems.. some people even keep the dealer decals and stickers on their cars It is a personal preference.

+1 for de-badge. First thing I do to any vehicle I purchase. Much cleaner look IMO. Buy hey, to each their own...some guys like to add more badges (insert flame factor).

It was more of a joke than anything. I could care less what people do to their cars and actually love when people make them unique.
Debadging just reminds me of the hipster who buys a $3k Cannondale and paints it flat black because he doesn't want to be riding around in a mass produced bike. And don't be fooled by the hipsters. Those $6 cups of coffee and $10k turntables add up. |

My opinion after doing a full debadge on my MW X5 is that for darker colors this is a must do mod. It looks so much better debadged on a black X5. The chrome against a white or silver X5 isn't as bad. I might explore putting back on the X5 badge in the back when they offer a gloss black version. Right now they only have it for the E70 and the font/size is different (i tried it)
