Nice! Just depends on what you want. I have a tuner who can get the 50i to about 625HP and 575TQ so that's faster than stock X5M numbers anyway. I just couldn't justify the price knowing that option. However, some people don't want to replace their downpipes or take their ECU out to flash it so I understand. LOL, this is car #8 right now and I figured I could have a slightly more comfortable ride with beast-mode available when I want it with those upgrades :-).

x5 xdrive40e
Didn't intend to get a new SUV today but darn that X5 is super nice. Ended up with 2016 X5 xdrive40e:
glacier silver, black dakota leather xline cold weather package rear camera MSRP $68,789 Adj. Gross CAP $61924 RESIDUAL- 56% MF - 0.00135 TERM - 36 MONTH @ 10K PER YEAR DOWN- $1500 (covers 1st payment, acquisition fee & doc fee) PAYMENT- $796 So that's a 10% "savings". Technically the wife ended up with this to replace her 11 year-old Xterra. I'm still driving my 2011 E91. The wife is less than 15 miles from work (door to door) so she should be driving in electric mode to work. No charger at her work yet. Perhaps soon. Ordered Bosch EL-51253 from Amazon and should be simple for an electrician to hook that up as our breaker panel is on the wall next to the car.

managed to get -25% of the price list on totaly new car with zero mileage.
it was a 2015 BMW central inventory sell off, its not really published or advertised, gotta ask for it and happens randomly during each year and all the dealers can access it. first comes first served rule. best car deal of my life IMHO * we are talking Europe here |

My thoughts: WAY TOO MUCH MONEY For a USED X5 you are paying $17k more for the 50i over what I paid for a new 2016 X5 35i with m sport, driver assist, driver assist plus, 20" wheels, harmon kardon + dakota leather. ( 60500 final price) Seems like you should get at least 12K off that price if not more. |
