Got these for my X5 when I got the car in November. Better than the carpet mats but not good for snow. Still waiting for BMW to offer the liners similar to WeatherTech (don't like the WT red logos).

Looks good, Which color your X5's interior is? Is it beige or Ivory? |

Good. What's wrong with them with Snow? I haven't experienced them with snow yet.

I test drove 2014 X5 last weekend and it had beige interior. I haven't seen Ivory yet personally, just couple of pictures from fellow members. Still debating should I go with Beige or Ivory. |

I think you can't get full ivory unless you go with Napa leather. I chose Beige as I don't want Black glove box and black carpet. Ivory and C.Beige are really close.

First, the edges are not high enough to cover the right side of the driver so my carpet is all white with salt residue (no idea how to clean that out). Also, the mat is not deep enough so once snow melts it drains water to the carpet and it gets all wet.

If anything, the WT rear mat is superior as it fully overs the bottom of the rear row. Rear occupants tend to not give a rats a** about preserving your interior carpet, at least my kids don't. I have the WTs (front and rear) and the BMW OEM (like in the pic). As others have said, the WT is better at containing snow, but the fronts do feel cheap. I plan to use the BMW OEMs in the Spring-Fall and the WT in the Winter. Cheers.

I went with WT in rear (because it covers the hump), as well as front (to match the rear). But I got the BMW cargo mat. I don't mind the red WT badge. I believe if I look hard enough, I can find a replacement badge for the WT badge on line.

I'm fairly certain BMW offers liners--just like WeatherTech ones- for the X5 that are much better than these rubber mats...

Yes, they do offer the same WetherTech liners with the BMW logo .... in Canada but not in the US. And they are manufactured by WetherTech which is based in the US. Go figure!!!!
I just gave up and ordered WT yesterday since my carpet is already all wet from snow melting and leaking from the BMW rubber mats. |

Pic of BMW rear ( covers hump, 1 piece) rear floor mat.( post 43) No logo on rear , there is BMW logo on Fronts. There is another thread for a pic of the fronts. As BMW1971 stated, not available in US. But if really interested call to see if there are revisions. http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...er+tech&page=2 |
