Cracked wheel

To what extent can a cracked aftermarket wheel be fixed? Does this crack look fixable to you guys?

Only option is to weld it and hope for the best. It may or may not crack again.

How much do you value your life? Less than a new rim?

They fixed mine, no issue 10K miles later. I do keep an eye on it every time I switch seasons.
Comments above are well taken.

Yes, it's fixable, but can you get a replacement one? I had an aftermarket wheel repaired twice (two separate cracks) only because replacement wasn't available due to discontinued design, and in total $$ it was close to the original cost of the wheel.

That experience lead me to "OEM or gtfo" approach to the wheels.

I've had worst luck with oem. I had a e60 with m5 wheels that constantly cracked. Gave up on them and went aftermarket with no issues.

Precisely - same conclusions here. OEM or gtfo. Unless it's Rays, Momo or other premium brand that makes OEM or higher quality wheels.

Care to share the brand of the cracked wheel?

I'm OK with aftermarket wheels, outside of the many, many #yolo brands out there.

Yes it can be repaired. I've seen many properly repaired wheels go for 100's of thousands of miles.

You drive a vehicle held together by hundreds of welds. Just saying.
