10/16/15: Order placed at the dealer
10/22/15: Finally got a production #. SA stated that BMW ordering system is having issues and its confirmed by multiple other forum members.
10/23/15: 10:33AM Production started. Vehicle is status 150. No completion date.
10/23/15: 8.45PM Production complete is week 45. We just ended week 42.
10/25/15: 6:02PM Production complete date updated to November 2nd. Week ahead of yesterdays schedule.
10/27/15: 2.35PM Production complete date changed to Oct 30th!
10/31/15: 9AM Online says on to stage 03 Finishing touches.
11/02/15: At the dealer!
19 Days from putting the deposit to getting the keys.

Vehicle is being transported to port of exit.

What does this mean? I thought since it was made here, there would be no port? Is the port a holding area before they send the shipments across the country?

Indeed my CA says the car has arrived and I have an appointment in the morning (Saturday) to pick it up.

Total time for Maryland: 2 weeks, 2 days to key in hand.

EvanRon we almost got the same build. The wife and I decided to go ahead and get the Luxury package since we were concerned about the looks and also dropped the running boards. However, yours is a beauty - I think it would have been fine without.

Mineral White / Terra Dakota is an awesome combination. I was considering the Brown Metallic but thought that was too much brown.

Can't wait for ours!

Ordered on 10/30, shows on the line and my sales manager said he hopes it will start production in the next one to two weeks.

I just joined the forum, I have been lurking here for a while. The plant I work at is being shut down earlier than originally planned forcing me into retirement early... so I just ordered a X5 35i as a retirement gift to myself.

2-Nov-15- Order Documented- Shows a White vehicle rather than Gray?? I will be checking on this.
5-Nov- Dealership tells me my car has started production. Still shows "Order Documented" on web page.
7-Nov- 1-800 reports that production has started with a 14-Nov completion date. Web page still shows status as "OD".

Now the waiting begins!!
Thanks to you folks I am already researching mods and planning to learn to do coding like I did with my VW's. Just need to make sure they pass the WAF!!
