I bought a set when I first bought the X5, but I didn't like marinating my shoes in melted snow and ice and salt. I bought an extra set of the regular mats and I just run them through the wash when they're fouled, and swap in a clean set.

I'm using mats from a local company which also ship to USA.
https://www.findway.ca/f518-3d-car-f...-velcro/09250b They're waterproof like WeatherTech but they have a carpet-like pile so they're like the best of both worlds. Had them in my Q7 for 5 yrs and they held up very well and still look new after 18 months in the X5. With the Canadian dollar exchange rate the $115 CAD should be about $90 USD, so they're also an economical choice too! |

I've also had good experience with Lloyd's all-season mats. The top-of-the-line version has plush carpet on top and a neoprene rubber back that's totally waterproof. Coverage is good, and they're super luxurious. The whole "rubber boot tray" approach of Weather-Tech is just a non-starter for me.

Anyone interested in OEM/weathertech for the 2nd row should know that they come in two pieces.
IMO - Look for other options where the mats run all the way from door to door for the 2nd row. |
