PDC error once a day . . . ? normal

How often do you get a PDC error on your dash display behind the wheel? If you get them at all.

The dealership 2 days ago replaced a faulty PDC sensor in the left front bumper.
I was getting many errors mostly PDC related since I bought the car 3 months ago.

The tech said his computer showed it has thrown 35 errors over the past 3 months. So they replaced that part.

I've been keeping track and I've seen the error once a day past 2 days. Says PDC malfunction.

I thought I read errors can be thrown when a car pulls up next to you at a light from time to time.
Both times when error popped up there were no cars next to me. today it went off when I stopped at a stop sign. It disappears 30 sec later.

Do I need to go back to the dealership or is this normal?

Thx

They seem to be, but I still get no parking assistance available from time to time and the PDC error when hard braking coming to a light.
Hopefully the bmw tech can spot the PDC issue on his computer once he hooks it back up on Wed.

Now a new rub is when I was driving up a 6 level garage today going round and round on the way up I heard a ticking like a bad cv joint all the way up when following the ramps up to the roof.

It sounded like I just got new tires and they left the label on the left front tire.
Are CV joints going bad in 14k miles possible. Have these been an X5 issue?

update: the dealer had replaced the left front sensor last week.
Today they found a break in the harness wire that runs between the left and right sensors.

He is ordering a new harness to be installed friday which he said its better then trying to repair the broken wire.

Hopefully, a faulty wire makes sense, because I notice the PDC malfunction error on my dash comes on more often for those times I brake harder when coming to a light that changes quickly.

Its a few hour job as they have to drop the front bumper facia.

Another update on my PDC issue and hopefully its resolved now.
Today the dealer replaced the front PDC wiring harness by dropping the front bumper cover. He found the harness had a section that had chaffed thru the insulation.
Luckily all was covered under warranty and it was not a result of the invisihitch harness which is a bmw oem rear harness and control box that I installed.

So far, no camera errors or messages saying PDC unavailable
