...it's cool and all, but won't you miss the analog dials of a "real car"? I didn't know BMW drivers wanted to get the Audi feeling of driving a computer.

Personally I would not want it, but there are many individuals that do.

too little too late.

BMW always tries to add all the bells and whistles to the last model year to entice more buyers. They also like to start removing little things here and there to make up for the cost difference too without announcing it.

Looks like you can also get the 21" 599 wheels for a modest $1,550 up charge with the Msport now which is nice. Sucks in a way for those that already has them and this will become a "stock wheel" for 2018 Msports on the road.

I guess the P1, LaFerrari, Huracan, *insert countless other super/hypercars* aren't real cars...

I have it on my 2017 M50d and until you change out of Comfort mode it looks just like the analog dials, with the exception that the speed the needle is pointing at gets a bit larger... which is no bad thing.

Am I missing something? Wasn't 6wb digital out in the 2017 MY? Mine is 2017 and I'm sure it has the digital one unless there's a better one out for the 2018MY

LCI 4 series has the same design but higher resolution. Perhaps they add those to 2018 US and other versions (doubt they will). I am coming from a 2014 extended cluster which was nicely designed but enjoy the change to 2017 6WB.

It currently is not available on the F15 for U.S. owners.

I really like the full digital dash display. It's actually one of the reasons I opted for much 2016 50i and not the ///M.

I knew eventually this would become standard and didn't want my car to feel a bit "out of date" after only a few years.

Looks like the digital dash became more "standard" earlier than I thought. Then again, BMW skipping an LCI for the X5 / X6 and rolling straight Into to a full make over has most of us a bit taken aback as well.

Just a few comparison shots between the full digital dash display in my car, and the dash found in the current X6M for reference.

And further to SCA's comments, however BMW makes it available for the F16 ( X6 ). The digital dash is a personal thing, for me I prefer the analog dash and the current digital dash from BMW is underwhelming compared to audi or Mercedes in terms of image quality. BMW's dash is too pixelated.

I'm fine with the analog dash but really miss having a digital MPH display that many other cars now include standard. Sure BMW has the heads up display option, but the dang thing is hard to read with polarized sunglasses. Love the quick look at a digital MPH since BMW analog gauges are compressed in readings due to their range in MPH

Interesting to note that 6WB *still* isn't available for the 40e.

Great. Then I will have to retrofit analogue so I can get HUD turn signals.
