Aftermarket spare tire that fits in storage bin?

Anyone have any part numbers, or ideas on this? I have a 2014 with 19" wheels. I'm looking for an emergency spare, something very close to the correct diameter. I am open to the kind that need to have air added before you mount them as well.

Thanks for the input.

Why go aftermarket? Just buy an OEM spare tire, just like I did:

Very nice! Is that 19"? Looks like it fits. I was just thinking aftermarket because I assume the OEM is vastly overpriced. Mind asking what it ran you, ballpark?

$150 if purchased with the vehicle, not sure if the price is different when purchased separately.

The part number is PKE7071SPARE. Here is what I paid:

$395.00 $395.00
Discount -$10.00
Sub Total $385.00
Shipping $50.00
Handling Fee $2.95
Tax $0.00
Total $437.95

You get the wheel, the tire, jack, etc. etc.

Thanks for the part number. That's not horrible, if you say it fast enough.

My understanding is that you also need a bracket to hold the spare tire down otherwise it would move around? in serious accident that tire could come loose and strike someone in the cabin.
I recall in my 2013 E70 X5 the spare was held by a twist hand bolt that was anchored to the trunk flooring.

I bought mine online, and I also bought an extra bracket from the dealership while I was picking up my car from service as the online description didn't mention whether or not the bolt/bracket were included. When the spare finally got delivered (from getbmwparts) it came with both the bolt and bracket as part of the kit.

Try eBay, I have seen them for as low as $200 a couple months back.

That comes with the kit that I bought. And even without the bracket, that thing is NOT moving.

I already have a nice kit with a 12v air pump, hold down bracket, jack, lug wrench etc. That's another reason I was kinda looking at aftermarket, I figured the BMW one might be a kit only. I didn't plan to always have it on board, mainly just when going out of town, or towing. Work and back, or around town, I'll just call AAA. I love that storage bin for a nice jacket and laptop etc. Completely hidden compartment even with the seats down for the dogs is a score, I don't think I could completely give that up.

unless you buy preowned....I was all in for $170 with tools. And b/c it's a spare, chances it was used is near zero. The one I bought still have new tire smell.

btw the spare size/wheel/tools are the exact same for the E70, so start searching ebay and forums for those cars.

This is true. I ordered with my vehicle and all the nice carpet under the cargo floor is missing and just the spare and tools is in there. I would have preferred the nice carpet so I could take out the spare and use it for hauling / storage.

There is no way the tire moves around under that cover even if you don't have the pin to hold it down.

Anyways I have third-row seats and I have mine sitting in the trunk on a trunk liner mat and it never moves around.
