They made it available in April, when new pricing came out, for 2017 models as well.

Haha - that one is the dumbest midnight edition yet, all the plastic parts are still chrome, only the wheels and car itself are black!

Looks like they combined Drivers Pack Plus and Executive Package, included the Park assist in the package and cut $300 from the combined price. That's it.

Interesting. When I ordered my 2017 X5M 4 weeks ago there was no black wheel option listed when I "built my own" on the BMWUSA website. Tried again today (using the mobile site) and still don't see that as an option. I am taking delivery this evening. My SA texted me a few pics of my car Friday and in the pics my wheels definitely look black. Hmmm.

What is option 7ME "M Driver's Package"? Prices at $2500, so must have some "substance" to it. Pretty sure that's new...?
