FS: 295/30/ZR20 Michelin Pilot Super Sport (2)
FS: 295/30/ZR20 Michelin Pilot Super Sport (2) ~6/32 Thread left. Asking $300 For both Picked up in 91335. Will ship if buyer pays. Possible to meet up in SoCal, but difficult as they don't fit in my current car (M5 as lease returned, went to P-Car), so I would need to borrow a car in order to meet up. Pictures attached.

Unless I'm seeing it wrong, these tires are 11 years old.
As per the Michelin website: Ten years is a maximum. If the tires haven't been replaced 10 years after their date of manufacture, as a precaution, Michelin recommends replacing them with new tires. Even if they appear to be in usable condition and have not worn down to the tread wear indicator. This applies to spare tires as well. |

A quick google shows me that PSS was debuted in 2011, so... the tire wasn't out 10 years ago. I got them a couple months ago used to put on my M5 for a lease return, but I was able to return the lease with enough thread so I didn't have a use for these. How can I tell how old they are? If they're too old, I'll just throw them away.

I'd say that 10 years is definitely pushing it. I see some dry rot in the pictures you posted. Since it's the only thing between your car and the road, you definitely want to avoid potentially defective tires. No trying to ruin your post, but last thing you want is someone buying these tires and then suffering thread separation or the like...

If these are indeed unsafe, I can just toss them as it's only a couple hundred dollars. I'd hate to have someone mount these and have any issues. I just thought that it's better to give someone the chance to take them if they're usable/can help them pass lease return/etc. Rather than just throwing them away if they're actually ok to use. I'm not a tire expert so I really appreciate your insight and info. It's best for someone local who can come inspect them, because I don't mind refunding someone's money if they receive a shipment and it's indeed not usable, but I won't be able to refund the shipping.
