My brother just sold his 2004, sans ZCP/Competition package. He was the second. Same colour as yours. Traded it for an R8 GT but he hardly got any money for it. Pity...

Why would one out a coat of spray wax on top of two coats of paste wax?

Finally took some pictures of my X5. No different than any other mineral white except the black and white theme that I painted myself. However, I just realized it is no different than most others. Oh well.... Enjoy.

The two coats of wax was done by the detailing guys and later I added a coat after few days, then realized I shouldn't have

Looks good. Mineral White is great. I was initially contemplating between a darker paint and white, always wanted to go with a darker paint (like Ruby Black), but now after having Mineral White I realize it is easier to not see the swirls. On the other hand, I would have found a reason to say a darker paint is better had I gone with one

White wasn't my first choice. I bought off the lot. I think carbon black or blue would have been nice but I probably wouldn't have blacked out my X5 if I had gotten it.
