New update~
Looks like I'm slowing down a bit. Only 35000 miles after 19 months of ownership. However from the looks of things I'm moving back to California, so I expect the driving to be going back up.

Just passed 40,000 miles and 20 months of ownership.
Besides the routine service visits I have also had to have the alternator replaced and 4 visit to fix the roof antenna.

67 000 km or 42 000 miles in about 15 months of ownership.
Spent plenty of time North of the Arctic Circle with it. Also drove in Glasgow, London, Paris, Milano, Vienna, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Prague, Poland, Berlin, Copenhagen, Luxenburg Stockholm, and Oslo with it. I also drove to Omaha Beach last year and Bastogne a few weeks ago, and both trips included a visit to Arnhem Bridge. I just need to go to Stalingrad now... |

August 2016; just hit 23k. I plan to keep to at least 100k, maybe beyond. 2007 CRV = 200k and 2004 MDX = 178k - its in my blood....

37k miles after 34 months of trouble free cruising. Too easy to roll up the miles. Expect to put well over 200k miles over the life of our X5. Have 209k on our E38, 145k on the E39. Glad we have several BMWs to spread all the miles out.

4 months old and just passed 5000 miles last week.
Pretty solid so far, except this annoying rattling sound coming from the back somewhere and intermittent creaking noise coming from the steering column at certain positions. Hope to keep for at least 7-8 years, but every time I see an X5M on the streets, I get very tempted.

Whoa that's really low mileage. We have a 2016 X5 35' (Oct 2015 Build) and its almost 2 years old with 14,300 mileage. At this pace, maybe we don't need to buy BMW extended warranty after 4 years since the odometer will be under 30K.
