BMW Free Maintenance Location Question

I've been taking the car to where I purchased for the "free maintenance" I have about a year left but front brakes (hopefully rotors specs allow it too) will come up in 3k miles. My job relocated me to a different office near a BMW dealership actually I was wondering would I have any issue getting the free maintenance done there instead of where I purchased the car from or am I tied to that dealer? My service advisor said he'd check and "get back to me" never did so have no idea, was wondering anyone on the forum knows?

Thanks

you can take the car in to ANY BMW dealership in the USA.

In fact this is the beauty of the BMW CPO/extended warranty and maintenance plans you purchase. If you're not happy with ANY aspect of servicing, you can take it somewhere else.

That's correct. Any OEM warranties apply at ANY dealership in North America.

Thank you P1et and Flying Ace , well that makes things a lot simpler, surprised the SA couldn't have just said that, but I suppose they'd want the kickback from bmw corporate for the maintenance costs.

^ no he doesn't, maybe you didn't make it clear to him what was going on?

SAs get a base pay, then they get incentive pay based on customer satisfaction surveys (that's why they hunt you down to fill those things out after your service), and how many identified "issues" they pass on to the techs (hence why they pretty much replace your wiper blades everytime you go in).
