Tire advice

I have the 21 in OEM wheels on Michelin PSS. I have to swap out the two right side tires due to damage/nail. They have about 5000 miles on them. Do I need to change all four tires?

I think there is a newer, better version of PSS now I think. If so, I'd swap all 4 and sell your other 2 used ones.

Thanks. Doesn't look like the new PSS is available in the sizes for the 21 inch wheels yet.

Just wondering if the new tires will cause issues with the other older ones.

The tires should be within 2/32nds of each other. Full tread is usually 10/32nds so you are fine if your other tires are around 8/32nds.

So I ended up buying 4 new tires.

Two used but undamaged tires now up for sale:

Michelin Pilot Supersports. The new Pilots are not yet available in the 21" X5M size.

I know this goes back a couple of month, but based upon your post are the Michelin PSS not repairable for nails, etc, similar to the Pirelli P-Zeros? If so, are the PSS significantly preferred?

You can patch the tires if the nail is in the center. Has to be away from the sidewall.
