Picked up Monday night

We picked up our replacement for our totaled e60 Silverstone M5 on Monday. From time of placing the order to dealer delivery was 4 weeks!!! All options except night vision and rear seat entertainment. We ordered with the 21" M light alloy wheels which on BMW's website are two-tone silver wheels. When we picked up the car it had 21" wheels in black. Not sure how that happened, but I love them.

Congrats, looks awesome! You very well might be the first in the country to have the OEM black wheels. (or at least black wheels with Silverstone, if nothing else!). Welcome to the club!

Our April 22 production X5M in DG had the OEM 21s in black. I tried ordering the snow 20s in black and they only show the single order code so will see next week what they come in as.

Congrats on the X5 M, its a great ride!
I picked mine up May 13, with 21s. Unknown to my dealer (or myself) the car was shipped with the black rims. Being my car is Saphire, I didn't want black rims. I pressed the issue and they were able to locate a new set of 21s in the the "traditional" color. The dealer investigated, and found out that the black is the new standard, at least for the 21 inch rims.
If you like them, awesome. If you are awaiting delivery and are not sure what is being installed, I would inquire with your dealer.

It doesn't appear the OP saabfreak is active much here, but I'm considering a Silverstone/black w/black wheels and would like to see some more pics, hear thoughts.

I am not a fan of black wheels, but I did see them in person on a DG X5M and they do look better in person. And SS is such a rare/unique color. But would I regret it later? I realize swapping out wheels is easy, but I like the 612M (silver) wheels. Dealers won't swap for me.
