I fitted the X6 leather knee pads, followed by the carbon trim set. A few hours work (you need to remove door panels) but well worth it - completely different environment.

great...i just noticed a small scratch on the drivers side door panel on the aluminum hexagon trim. its abt a half inch long (how i got it is beyond me)
seems like depending on the angle at which you are looking at it.. you may or may not see it right away. still kinda annoying..i remember the polished wood trim in my 335 was prone to swirls and "spider webbing" i really try my best to take care of the interior... i try to use air dusters and swiffer dusters to handle the interior but something always manages to happen |

Man just picked up a 2014 X5d over the weekend and the aluminum hexagon is a mess in the Centre.
I'm gonna see if I can find these knee pads in my tan Interior colour. Hopefully price isn't too bad! |
