I don't think connected drive has anything to do with email account, it gets the emails from your phone, not directly from server. Unless the F15 added some amazing functionality to retrieve emails directly without the need for phone connection.

I am totally unable to make iphone email (iphone 4S, iOS7) appear on screen. But I think this point has been extensively discussed before and that there is no solution to date (I can only get SMS to appear on idrive screen).

On the other hand, on connected drive services (connected drive website), you can parameter an email account which you can collect through connected drive, not just on the iphone: here is a screen shot from the web site; But I just cannot find exchange type of accounts; only imap etc... Any one knows how to overcome this ?
Thanks

Looking at those options it doesn't look like it supports Exchange directly, just POP and IMAP with and without SSL.

Try with IMAP. Almost all exchange providers offer IMAP as alternative to get your emails.
