Front suspension squawking
A quick forum search didn't yield any helpful results, so I thought I would ask. Recently my wife's 2018 X5M's front suspension started squawking (the only term I thought was accurate, lol). It sounds like it is coming from the front passenger side and is only noticeable infrequently. I'd go as far to say that I don't notice it at speeds over 40mph, but that could be due to road noise, etc.
When traveling around 25-30mph, I can move the steering wheel abruptly left to right and the noise is quite noticeable. You can also hear it slightly when pulling into the garage and traveling over the small bump/transition from the driveway to the garage floor (about an inch or so bump). I looked underneath the vehicle and took a detailed look throughout the wheel well on the passenger side, but nothing looked out of the ordinary. To me, it sounds like a sway bar bushing, so I sprayed a liberal amount of lubricant on the bushings with no luck. Any suggestions?
