When an M3 owner who lowers their car and adds a few CF bits calls theirs a "build", kindly send them to this thread.

This... is a build!

Any rear shots?

P1… this is not car porn!!! How dare you ask for “rear shots”! Bahahaha I’ll send some lol.
So the white carbon fiber is not for the interior ….
It’s to redo my front lips, diffuser, side skirts, trunk and top rear wing/spoilers, and mirrors. They are all currently 3k twill carbon, if the white looks amazing will do them all again.
When I get permission I will post a comp M2 engine cover I did in yellow carbon fiber.
So playing with idea to do a two tone carbon fiber hood black and white, similar design to current but where I have wrap, do in white carbon!

Are these corrected numbers?

I want to get the tuned dirty D on the dyno and see what it actually puts down.

Just coming across this thread... Brian this is certifiably insane. That being said...keep going! can't wait to see what's next.
I'm mostly an OEM+ guy, but the level of commitment and effort put into this build deserves respect.
Nice name btw

What is the proper part # for the dual duct? I have a 2017 35i and wanna do the same thing possibly. Thanks in advance…

I’ll have to look… I ended up making this with two stock tubes, cutting and grafting, glassing and carbon fiber …
Now I’m gonna cut it again to get rid of ridged connection to filter housing … nice piece of 3-3.5 inch aluminum l, covered with carbon should do the trick… smooth out air flow … gonna add to my AFE magnum air box a small section as well. I want a air tight connection bc it’s “ram air”/pressurized from front scoops in grills.

I know it’s been a while but here’s my new high flow intake system. Everything is 3.5” vs the small restrictive system that bottle necks down to 1.8”. Turbo inlet is around 2.5” to 3.5” (can’t see that)
Everything is in white carbon fiber material, hand layed by your truly. Enjoy (btw picked up 1 psi 18 to 19psi at manifold and man does it spool up fast!

X5Brian CF looks great. Interested to see what you have going on under the intake cover, if you don't mind sharing.
