2 week ownership of 40e as a former F36 B48 owner

Turned in my lease on the F36 early, and got into this CPO 17' 40e.

Overall I'm very happy. Great looking SUV, spacious and nice interior.

I was hesitant to get an SUV before, but after test driving the 40e, I made up my mind.

Power is adequate most of the time esp. during city driving, which I think is benefited from the electric engine that gives instant torque.

One thing I noticed that's different on the drive-train setup, between this N20 engine and my previous B48, is that the tranny tends to hold gear to a noticeably higher RPM with the N20.

I like it this way, since one of my biggest complaint with the prior B48 is that it upshifts way to aggressively for fuel economy and as a result when there's a need to sharp accelerate, it takes time to kick down which impair the driving experience greatly.

One downside with the 40e, is really the engine noise... Boy it's bad... I wonder if this is the same with other N20 engines, e.g. ones on the older F3x?
