Older wheels for F15
I have a 2018 F15 that I want to have a square set of used wheels for snow tires. A lot of what I see on local FB Marketplace seems to be from Gen1 or Gen 2. I have 35XI and just want to keep it square. So will all 18 inch from previous gens fit the F15? Also, I seem to remember from my days over at the E90 forums that someone post a style sheet for all of the BMW wheels. Anybody have one of those?
How about these? What gen are they from? And these? Thanks, |

The 2nd & 3rd generation X5s share the same wheel/tire specs & have a 74.1mm wheel hub...which means the e70 & f15 can swap wheels. The 1st gen e53 X5 has a smaller wheel hub (72.56mm)...so you would need to enlarge each wheel's center bore...or use hub-centric adapters that will reduce your 74.1mm hub to 72.56mm. Here's is my old BMW wheel comparison chart...you can also see that the TPM sensors in the e70 & f15 tires are different...so you will need to swap to the correct type if you go with e70 wheels. And if you go the e53 route...you will still need to get the correct TPM sensors for the f15. I needed a winter set for my f15...and couldn't find anything in time for its first winter. So I pulled my e53 Style 87 wheels out of the shed and purchased a set of hub-centric adapters (15mm) and extended lug bolts. See the results below:

So I think I'll stick with a search for E70 wheels then. RealOEM shows the second one as Style 210 as best as I can figure from the black & white drawing.
So the next $64 question is: What are the TPMS sensor ranges used? From year on year or even part numbers if someone has them. |

Well I guess I would if I could find a deal on a set. I also thought if I went down a size to 18", then I could run a taller skinnier tire for winter.

36 10 6 856 209 or 36 10 6 881 890 A quick look on RealOEM suggests that any of the F15's used the same sensors. You an also use the Huff UVS4040/4030 if the shop you choose can program them. The pro is the universals tend to be significantly less expensive. Quote:
