Help *** Brake Actuator Failed
Hello,
Hope someone can help me on this. My handbrake actuator has failed, garage has confirmed this following it letting out an almighty screech and error on the i drive system. Please could someone clear this up for me, what part numbers will fit my 2015 model? The garage has given me the part number 34436874220 but upon searching ebay for a second hand part there seems to be many variants of part numbers, all stating it will work on a 2015 bmw x5 but not matching part numbers. I am looking for a second hand actuator due to the garage advising BMW wanting around £960 for the part. Thankyou all |

Just go to realoem.com enter your VIN and see what options do you have.

My guess, and only a guess is that the shoes inside the rear brakes aren’t adjusted properly.
I’ve had problems with this on my LR3 since buying it new, so my last brake change I’ve basically made the parking brake inoperable which I know isn’t ideal. |
