Darn...you're right. I took the back panel off both seats. Comfort seat has a wire running up through one of the head rest rails while the base seat does not.

How much of a pain was it to get at the crash module?

Do you have the wiring info from the seat connectors to the crash module?

My guy said that if I just leave the active head restraints inactive, I don't need to remove the wiring. He only codes the seat module and body module, thus ACSM remained with Aktive Kopfstűtze inaktiv.

You have to completely remove the center console to get to crash module. It's not difficult, it just takes time figuring out how to take it apart. But once it's out, real easy access.
Here's wiring on crash module connector. I'll have to find where they connect to pins on yellow seat connector... Can't find at the moment.

Hi, I am just installed comfort seats and connect 5 and 6 wires from drivers seat to passenger, can somebody explain how I can make errors gone? I have e-sys, BimmerCode, ista+. Thank you

I ended up just paying a guy to do the coding over the internet, remotely. Otherwise coding is a learning process.
