Oil filter housing leaking vacuum?

I have 2015 X5 that I can spray carb cleaner at the front lower corner of and the oil filter housing and the engine idle goes up it has 101F01 , 102002, 118401 , so I was looking for a vacuum leak. Just replaced the oil cooler because of a massive oil leak, , oil leak is fixed but now some drive ability issues have cropped up. The oil filter housing was not disturbed when the oil cooler was replaced. Is it possible the massive oil leak from the oil cooler compromised the oil cooler housing gasket? Is it even plausible for the oil filter housing to suck air and no external oil leaks ?

You replaced the oil cooler? Usually the gasket there and below the oil filter housing are what go bad.
There's no intake going thru the oil filter housing. The intake manifold is right behind it. Did you mess with that?
