new shoes
So I planned to take some good pics as I don't think most of what's out there do the 469m's justice, they look better in person and the two tone finish means different lighting and different angles make it hard to get a true visual through pics on a website
But of course, it rained for all of 5 minutes here today and my wife happened to be going out for those 5 minutes.
So best I have for now is a couple cell phone shots. Replaced the 467m's with 469m's courtesy of Atomic80. I'll put snows on my 467's next winter. I still love style of those 467's, like them a better than the 469's, but the car needed 20's, and desperately needed wider wheels in the back. I'll do a proper shoot when I wash it again, but here's a couple cell phone shots for now.. Last shot is of all 4 467's in the back! The X3 this car replaced would have fit maybe 1 or 2 of those |

Thanks! To me, it's as much about the 60mm difference in those back tires as the 1" in diameter. If the 467's came staggered like they do in other parts of the world, I might have stuck with them for summer, mainly because it's my wife's car. But they were just too skinny man, at least with the flared fenders. Fat man on stilts lol.

Can't go wrong with staggered setting.

Thanks guys!
I agree the M sport should just come with the 20's, or at least don't give the flared fenders without a staggered set up... I foolishly didn't order the 469's on the car because the pics give such different looks, and I couldn't find any to see in person and just didn't love them in pics. Like I said, most pics don't do them justice. |

Thanks! Door closed no problem, perfect fit. Well, other than when I tried to get them out! I need to take them out of the plastic today to clean them and store for the summer. I'll see then if they scratched them to force them in there so tight. they had them back to back and cardboard in between the fronts that touched, so in theory they should be fine. But man, someone must've thrown a shoulder in to get them in there.

Now as far as storing them at home vs. dealership goes ...is it better to bring them home? I think my dealership agreed to store them free for 1 year...should I do that or should I just bring them home?...I'm afraid they might swap them or damage them...is that a fair concern? |

Just want to clarify something regarding the 20" wheels: on the online configurator it seems that the 469 are staggered while the 451 are not, meaning that on the 451 the front and back wheels are identical in size and shape. Is this correct?

No, I believe they are both staggered, 275's in the front and 315's in the rear. I believe someone else saw the same thing on the configurator and someone with 451's confirmed, but maybe someone can chime in.

so what's the benefit of Staggered set again?
I know my 469's are...but I guess my winter tire package isn't... I think winter tires shouldn't be staggered...correct? |

I don't think staggered sets are used for winter tires. In fact many people go with narrower tires in the snow. |
