Continential extremecontact dw tires?
Any feedback on these? I dont' need all-season or run flats since I run winter tires, just need good summer tires that are quiet and perform well, they seems cheap?

Will be over 30k on the Pirelli Scorpion Verdes when I finish the trip I'm currently on.
The Conti DWS06s will be the next set I put on. A lot of good feedback on these used on our Xs. |

Have the Conti DW on my Audi, it's sorta like the summer version of DWS. Slightly harder and don't last a long. Grip better in the dry than DWS. All and all, good tires for the price.

I have the DW on my A4. they're fantastic in the wet.
Have 25,000kms on them. So far so good. Don't get caught out in freezing weather in these as there is NO grip whatsoever in slush or snow .. yes that's obvious but I only say this because some summer tires can still scavenge some traction in snow.. these don't. |

Just browsing over here, but I run Conti DW on my M3 and I find them to be great for my use. For a DD in Texas, they check all the boxes for me. Dry grip is great and driving in the rain is oddly satisfying, they inspire confidence. Don't expect uber performance out of them, but they're very comfy as well.

Both of the tires you mention above are all season tires, not performance summer tires.

Just not a fan of the thread pattern once mounted. Did you ever have an E70? The Bridgestones had a very "fat" and "blocky" look that made the E70 M Sport look extra wide. Some didn't like the ride, and replaced them with Continentals and although it probably rode better, the tires just didn't look as mean.
