Looking for a Cabin Filter replacement DIY?
Searched the forum, didn't find anything. AC is giving off an unpleasant odor, want to throw in an activated charcoal filter.

Are you outside of the mileage for warranty/maintenance?
Should be real straight forward, but here is a YouTube on a E7X, but they claim it is the same for the F15:

Changing to new cabin filters wouldn't get rid of the smell. Actually you will ruining a fresh set of filters.
I would recommend taking it to the dealer, they have a machine that vacuums/cleans the AC system of any smells, then let them change the filters for you! |
