Lease Takeover: 2017 BMW X5M - $1223/mo Amaro Brown/Black Sapphire
Greetings, I placed a $9,100 security deposit down, and am only requesting $7,100. This is a $2,000 discount/incentive. The $9,100 security deposit will be returned to you in full at lease end. You will not, however, be able to take advantage of the MSD program, as BMW has discontinued the MSD program. The MSD program will allow me/the person who takes over the lease to save roughly $4,000 in interest expense over the 36 months. Better than a sharp stick in the eye...Having said that, I fully understand the 2 schools of thought on MSD's and opportunity cost. I am risk averse and am more than happy with a $4,000 interest savings over 36 months. The above, coupled with BMW actions recently to make leasing less and less attractive, makes this lease takeover a good deal. I have a hard time believing someone can walk into a BMW dealer and get a monthly lease payment close to mine w/o putting any cap cost reduction into the deal. |

Unfortunately, as much as I love this car (how can you not?!?!)...need to re-prioritize where the money goes each month.
