If your fantastic car happens to just "disappear" from your garage some night, you might want to advise the Swedish police to check the holds of any ships departing for the US. I'm guessing I'm not alone among the US members of this forum who would give anything --- or do anything --- to get a 50d here.

Enjoy it!

Those are some serious winters - studded and all - you're not messing around!

Great spec - enjoy!

Thanks guys for your nice posts!

Tires are studded Hakkapeliitta 295/30/22 I think. I ordered the alloys from the U.S some weeks ago and they are replicas in 22" as someone asked. I didn't get the M-stickers from the supplier this time but BMW gave me these stickers as you can see on some pictures that they are on the wheels. Amazing design and finish of the wheels, really nice but now I'm confused on which set to use on summertime since I also ordered a set of X6M replicas. What do you think? X6M replicas or these..

Car rides just perfect, 22" doesn't change that much I believe and I have had it before on numerous X5 E70s without any problems. X5 almost begs for 21-22" as the 5 series needs 20-21" in my honest opinion.

The F15 is so much better on almost everything compared to the older E70. The chassi and feeling of it is more like the 5 and 6 series, with X-drive of course. The quality feels like a german BMW now and you can feel it from when you enter the car and when you sit down you will experience the great upgrades from older X5s. And the systems in this car are quite intelligent and modern so it really feels like a brand new car from the inside and out.

The M50d engine is, powerful, a beast on diesel. Power and performance is given at all times and with perfect traction due to the 4WD, damper controls and active steering features. This is a real beast in disguise!

Do you have a link of the vendor you purchased the wheels?

That has to be the shiniest car i've ever seen...beautiful.

So i'm confused, that's not just an M sport package car like we get in the states, it's an actual X5 M? is the petrol version of your car going to be available in the US? Looks much better than the M Sport package.

This is an M-badged (monster) diesel available outside of the US. It's not an "actual" X5M.... still awesome though

Externally the same as an M-Sport but with metal fins added in the air intakes on the front, different mirror caps, and black exhaust tips.

Also the OP added the HUGE wheels

Those must be the Hakka 5's - they are discontinued

No other Hakkas in 22, and a very limited selection in 20's. They need to step up their game!

Happy you guys enjoyed!

Yes this is not the full petrol "M-version" of X5 F15 as X5 M F15 is still in its' development, looking really good, and as a true supercar of it's size. The M50d (and other BMW M Performance models) is a combo of the M's power and performance in a daily drive like the X5 and for instance the 5 series. Most of them are diesel cars but you have one petrol model, the M135i/M135xi. And soon there will be a sibling, the new M235i. They are sportier than the standard series cars but with same comfort and as good consumptions as possible within its' targets. They share parts from M-cars and standard series cars and you could say that they are right in between them as well but with a slightly higher price tag of course. The M50d are quite a lot different from the standard 40d that is almost perfect as is already. And the M-version will be a total beast. Maybe perfect daily car who knows haha. Sad that you don't get the M50d in the states?

Took almost full optioned or all of the options that were available at the time. Skipped some minor stuff like Internet but took BMW Online with Apps etc. Great thing actually, quite amazing with aux heating that can operate with remote or smartphone, or BMW Apps together with the navigation, see locations on pictures before arriving there. There is many cool stuff in here and really clever too! But I'm not that familiar with all that just yet

I skipped B&O, nightvision and fond Entertainment. And full leather because I wanted to have a bright and not dark interior this time, Ivory is amazing as can see on stiches and leather is very nicely put together. But Black Nappa wasn't available, or white/bright full leather package and that was sad first. Now I'm glad I took this options as it turned out fine. Great improvement with the interior design BMW but you missed the last couple of things unfortuntely!

The 22" wheels are staggered. 22x10 fronts and 22x11 rears. But these tires are 295/30/22 all around, Hakka 5s'. Summertires are same wheel specs but with X6M design and with Pirellis 295/30/22 fronts and 335/25/22

Thanks for posting the spec- very nicely done!

Did you get the traffic jam assist with driver assistance plus package, or was it built just a little too early?
