Exhaust recommendations for 35i

I'm running straight pipe on mine, actually sounds good. Besides cold start it's not as loud as I expected . If your looking for a muffler I say RGsport, sounds really good and is affordable, Ben and his guys are the best over there

For your 50i, no MPE is available.. But if I were going to get an aftermarket exhaust then I would get this...

Yeah but if you add the MPPK tune its golden

Often time just the exhaust sound/note makes me smile each time I press go.

Yes, I have sold a bunch of them.
Unfortunately, I don't have a video. Some of the forum member here bought it from me and might have a video of it.

FWIW I put an exhuast on my Cayenne turbo (major maker but dont recall brand and freakin expensive stainless and beautiful) but it made the car drone and honestly made the car feel slower as it took some of the torque down low away. I purchased it from my dealer and after a week made them take it off and put the stock back on and I could tell immediately it was better. Not saying this would happen with any of these on a BMW but that was my experience. You'd be suprised how much r&d goes into a stock system.

In case you didn't know MPE (M performance Exhaust) is OEM upgrade exhaust system from BMW.

Didnt know that but just for 35 i right? The ones shown for 50i shown above are aftermarket. I was just relaying my experience YMMV!! I would still want to see the dyno charts to see if you are getting anything more than louder exhaust note and if its costing you any torque at low rpms.

My understanding is that most aftermarket exhaust don't provide any additional hp/tq to make a difference.. For me, I didn't get the MPE for additional power, but rather for the sound.
I didn't like the stock exhaust on my 35i as it was very quiet.

Heard a clip of the ACS on a site, but thinking the Hamann sounds way better.

Going to keep shopping.

Have Akra on my M4, but don't want to spend that kind of money on my X5.
