Hey guys,

Avoid going to Gerry from BMW Nav Codes. He's been very shady and dishonest. I asked him for a lifetime code and paid for it then he sent me a one time use code. I will post the email thread later today

Well after a few more emails back and forth, he decided to send me the lifetime code.

If you end up using him, make sure you clearly specify if you want a lifetime code or single use fsc code.

Ask whom you got it from or
Try another map update. If it lets you then it's a lifetime.

Didn't know Gerry sold lifetime. Been using him for years with no issues. I get your frustration but a bit string emotions here.

Curious what he charged for a lifetime code?

Anyone faced that before?

In 2021, I bought a Lifetime FSC code from bimmernaviupdates.com. In December 2023, I bought a map updates from the same vendor. When I put the USB key in my car, the system asked me for a FSC code. I was surprised because I thought the previous one I entered was a lifetime one. I entered the code I got from the 2021 transaction, and obviously the system refused it. I contacted bimmernaviupdates.com and there are asking me to buy a new lifetime code.

I have the feeling they gave me the wrong code in 2021, and they don't want to generate me a new one for the 2024 maps I just bought.

For the newer maps i think 2022 or 2023 they all require new fsc for updates. This might be the issue. Im not sure if this applies to all the units.

That's why I generated them myself. All you need is ISTA cable once and then code generator.

Sorry I meant entrynav2. Can these be generated as DIY pr do we need the 3000usd HUtools for that?

Entrynav2 requires patching using the paid tools. Its possible to using feature installer
