I’m curious to know if anyone has had a timing chain replacement?

What is the average cost in the uk for replacing the timging chain

And how much is to much wen it comes to paying for this kind of work

I did this job, BTW it is 3 chains instead of 1, and there are many other parts that require replacement at the same time. I took the opportunity to replace the oil pump as well. My car had 220.000 Km at that time, the price was 1500EUR for OEM parts and labour. That is in Romania, not sure about UK.

That’s don’t seem bad at all ☺️

compared to the price I had of £3,370 that’s not even including a new oil pump 😒

If I add up the oil pump it's more like 2000€.

I was wondering if the oil pumps could be rebuilt?
