Racechip Ultimate for 30d and Engine warning light

Hi,

I am planning to install Racechip on my 2015 X5 30d, as my friends told me that, the engine warning light will come up after 10000KM. Has anyone tried before? Any recommendation for me?

Thanks!

Stick with the recommended settings and you won't have any problems.
Turn it up too far and you WILL get a "check engine" light.

I've been using racechips ultimate with Bluetooth function on my 3.0d.... it's been pretty good for the first 10000km, after approx 1xxxxkm with it ...I got my first CEL ... it was a code regarding common rail.... so it is failure on the racechips.

radrads203 For the diesel, most of the time it is caused by a bad batch of fuel.
It does happens. Give it a try after again after you put in a new tank of fuel.

I am not sure about it... before I got the Engine check light, I have experience some rough idle....... fuel quality shouldn't be the problem in Hong Kong... so not sure if it's a problem on the wire or the plugs contact or the racechip unit.. I have been contacting racechip Germany for this problem..... but no luck... they have the poorest customer service... haven't got my problem solved.
