Separate cooling systems?

The cooling system reservoir/tank/fill cap is on the left/drivers side of the engine compartment. There is what looks like a similar, but smaller one on the right/passenger side of the engine. It smells like coolant. Is there a smaller, separate cooling system for the turbos? I just wasn't sure what this is. Maybe for the air to water intercooler? (V8 engine).

Could be for the two DME's or the Intercoolers. I know they are all part of the cooling system.

The N63TU has 2 separate cooling systems.

The larger one is for the engine and turbos
The smaller one for the charge air (Intercoolers) and 2 ECU's
