X5/x6 steering question
A disappointment I have with the f15 is the steering firmness not changing in different modes. E.g. I hope the steering can be adjusted to be firmer on the highway. Is this the same for the f16 x6? I can't seem to find any info on this topic.
Thanks |

I am not sure in Canada, but Msport line does not equal Adaptive M suspension.
The reason I ask if you have this upgraded suspension is because in my X5 the steering feel and the road feedback is a non issue. I recently came from a E70 X5. |

I have an F16 with MAdaptive suspension and the steering feel is noticeably more precise when you move from comfort to sport. I have chassis turned on and xmission turned off in the settings for sport mode.

In Canada, M-Sport always comes with M-Adaptive suspension.

Yes, the Adaptive M suspension offers a noticeable change in firmness. In comfort mode the steering is very loose and floaty...but when switched to Sport+ the change is significant and the steering becomes very stiff. I wish the comfort setting could be adjusted individually to increase the firmness.

Do you have adaptive M suspension?
If you do you will have buttons to the left of the shifter to switch between comfort and sport modes.

CJ_Lo, In iDrive go to settings> driving mode> here you can set either chassis or drivetrain or both in sport mode. Make sure this is selected.
