Hello
I have a question. I have an offer to buy knee pads from x5m But unfortunately there is a problem. I have looked at yours photos and with yours knee pads come extra plastic extensions. unfortunately, those that I can buy at a good price do not have it. Is it possible to mount these knee pads without these plastic adapters? and they look like this: Or is it possible to buy these plastic adapters separately? |

Brackets (plastic adapters) are not sold separate.
You can probably install the kneepads without the brackets, but I don't know for sure. Though if you do, they might not be secure if bumped, make creaky noises etc. |

Not easy to find, I've seen few of these listings before when they sell kneepads for super low price without the brackets. As far as I know BMW doesn't sell these brackets separately ( https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_9175 ). You can only get these from junkyard/auto dismantlers.

Seems odd the missing pieces are not included, ask the seller if he/she has them. They aren't needed with the non M trim piece that the knee pads replace.
You won't be about to install the knee pads w/o them, and least not properly/securely. And this install is a PITA so no reason to go through w/ it unless you have all the parts. |

Does the piece that the knee pads replace have these brackets? If so, perhaps just use the ones from the parts you remove from yours?
