- Carbon Black Metallic (Front and Rear)
- Black Sapphire Metallic (Front and Rear)
- Space Gray Metallic (Front and Rear)

These look so much better than stock. Is it possible to source the painted replacements in all body colors? Thanks!

I bought my reflectors for both my cars from IND. I think they paint them any OEM color you're looking for.

Thanks Doc.

After a bit more searching threads I found the iND website - FYI anybody else that is on the hunt for these:

Thanks for sharing, sure looks like a lot of work to swap them. Has anyone tried overlays instead?

Any advice for installing these on a diesel? The bit that I am worried by:

"If you have the sDrive35i or xDrive35i, you will have no oil cooler inside the front bumper as shown in the pictures."

I assume with the 35d there is something (AdBlue tank?) in the way that may complicate things?

TIA

Later: I found some info in this thread: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1001636.

You don't need to worry if you are doing the painted reflector.
Only when doing the M50d grill trim.

Thanks

But I bought the M50d grill trim from you too, so I do need to worry Am contemplating tackling both the grill trim & reflector install myself. Dealer let me down so need to find a solution on my own

My apology, my mention was for installing the painted reflector on the 35d is nothing different compared to the 35i or 50i.

Just tried to do this and was the biggest pain in the butt. I scratched and nicked the heck out of the bottom flare where the pop rivet is trying to get them off. Any leverage I use and it gouges the paint. Pulling the flare off take nerves and I just gave up and I'm taking it to the body shop tomorrow morning. It will be the best $100 I ever spend.

I've personally done the reflectors on my F80 M3 and the kidneys on both the M3 and F15. This car is such a pain.

Sorry to hear that.
It is a bit hard to take off that rivet.
You should just drill it out since it is not reusable.

I did end up drilling out the last one but I didn't go deep enough as I wasn't sure what might be on the other side. Anyway, it's OK. I can do mechanical stuff but I just suck at body/exterior mods

I do have to say after doing this mod on various bmw's in the past the F15 is by far the most pain the ass one to do. I messed up the paint under my fender flare as well from it bending and scraping against the liner before i said screw it and removed the whole liner instead.

Bought these painted reflectors too, but I just realized how much pain it is to install, just removing the wheel is a pain already (a nice 15 min DIY turns into a sweaty 2 hour job on the parking lot) for something as simple as a bumper exterior reflector swap I wish there was just an overlay option
