Option 1: Side mirror closing delay (line 49)
Option 2: Open/Close Side Mirror (line 50)
Option 2: folds the mirror with both CA/key.

Option 1: changes the (fold/unfold) delay time (line 52 not 49).

Personally, I only did option 2 (i think its line 53 not 50).

I just found that if I close the door with CA and hold my finger a few seconds, the mirrors fold, so I'm 50% done, what I really wanted is to fold them with just locking the car and not having to hold the key button or leave my finger until they fold

My mirrors un/fold when I press the un/lock button on my remote. I didn't need to hold the button or anything unlike CA. I actually prefer that CA setting.

Mine did the same. Haven't investigated yet, but I do have to recode since I had MPPK installed so will do some checking. I want the mirrors to fold whenever the vehicle is locked, no holding buttons nonsense. Lock and fold all the time.

internet

Hallo, checked coding sheet and did not find how to code "internet access"
I mean to see it in connected drive menu, I heard it is possible...
P.S. Car will be able to connect to internet via phone.

Has anyone figured out how to increase the ACC timeout from 3s to something higher? Looked around and didn't find anything, really hoping this is possible.

Has anyone found coding for the sensitivity of the radio volume knob? I find myself having to twirl it quite a bit to get a meaningful increase/decrease in volume compared to my old e39. I know the steering wheel buttons move it more with each click but tend to reach for the knob (probably because i'm used to the radio controls being on the left on my old one...).
thanks

Have been looking for this as well...just a view second increase would be so nice! The only thing I found was the line that "determines" the 3 seconds. Changing that value by itself did not do anything though...

Successfully coded BDC_ BODY, KOMBI and HU_NBT modules. After Read ECU, I do not see HKFM, KAFAS or ICM modules. Do I need to Read SVT instead or something else?

Yes and I was able to code the modules mentioned. I don't see the other modules I mentioned.

Were the modules there before you coded the others? What features are you trying to code? Are you sure you have the options in your build?

Screenshot attached of the modules I have. There were no others prior to coding. Trying to code Active Blind Spot at lower speed (have the option) and Close trunk via Keyfob/Inside button.

Of note, I had the driver door open during coding. The ignition was on, but the engine was not running.

You do need to read svt. But are you sure you are using the right car model when hitting connect on esys?

Thanks. Will try that. I connected by VIN and selected F25 as the target.

I'm having trouble getting my network connection. Apologies in advance as I'm a Mac guy and trying to get this sorted on an old windows xp laptop. When I connect the cable the Lan connection confirms connected. But ESys connect by VIN is greyed out. Did some searching online and believe this is a connection problem. Only think I can see is that the IP address for the connection is 192.xxx.x.x and the instructions I have indicate it should be 169.xxx.xxx.xxx. My IP address type notes it is Manually Configured. Thanks for any ideas.

Assuming that you must have a 169.x.x.x address, it sounds like you need to clear out a manually configured IP address. As I can't remember the exact path to click through the UI, I'm going to include a shortcut.

1. Hold down the Windows key and press R
2. In the Run prompt type "ncpa.cpl" and press Enter (this should open the Network Connections window)
3. Right click on the network connection (often named "Local Area Connection") and click on Properties
4. Select "Internet Protocol Version 4" (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties beneath it
5. Select the "Obtain an IP address automatically" option then click OK
6. Click OK again to close the individual network connection's window
7. Wait a minute or so (a process on the laptop has to time out) then check your IP address again

That should get you on a 169.254.x.x address while you're not connected to any other networks.

Thank you! Worked perfectly. I vaguely think i used to know that stuff but it's been years since i made the jump to Macs...
With that sorted i completed my first batch of coding: m splash, seat belt chimes off, trailer rear view camera, radio off with door open, close hatch with fob/CA. Couldn't have done it without all of you guys - thanks!. All went smoothly (thank goodness).

One thing i still want to do is the folding mirror with fob. I've seen the cheat sheet and various posts here but want to confirm what's required if
a) i want the mirrors to fold only if i press and hold the lock button on fob (i.e., they don't fold immediately), or
b) i want them to fold immediately
I see these three items in cheat sheet
KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN
ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN
ASP_AUSKLAPPEN_NACH_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN

Thanks
Peter

Any help?

The X5 had LED headlights.
I added it to the cheat sheet hope that helps. Line 135-137 works on cars 06/15 and later (FLE ECU)
