Too many dealers will be more than happy to write your order.
This forums sponsors are a good place to start. Specify a PCD in April or May and you won't remember any of the hassle getting there.

Wow. Sorry to hear. Amazing you'd get that type of response. Unless there are people lining up outside the dealership like it was opening night, flat out losing the customer like this is crazy. In this day and age of easily contacting other dealers from the comfort of your couch, you'll have the exact 50i you want in no time. When your SA contacts you again (and he/she WILL), you'll have the satisfaction of either ignoring or letting them know they blew it big time. Good luck and keep us posted!

guys, i have to admit yall have been nothing but helpful. But after the debacle at the dealership, I was contacted by Audi, and am now the owner of a S7. The price was too good to turn down.
NOW! if there are any of yall that still wanna do photoshoots in NoVA, hit me up! |

so far I'm so freaking happy with it. I've already put about 60 miles in it and it DOES fit my dog, with room to spare for a future baby seat.
Don't get me wrong, I was pretty psyched about the X5, but after all that negative-vibe, + I got this car at a price I was very happy with |

Try number three at responding via the app.
Congrats. The S7 is a beast in it's own right. There's one I run across quite a bit here in town that is lowered, has tasteful aftermarket wheels, and great sounding exhaust. I always do a double take.

Like the stitching on the steering. Nice looking car. Inside looks much nicer than I expected; outside looks great on almost all Audis except their SUVs in my opinion.
_________________________________________ I am an advocate for fixed pricing. I hate haggling. It will lead to a more enjoyable purchase experience, and it pits the dealers against each other to fight for attentiveness and and better service operations. Perhaps worthy of a poll in the general bmw discussion section of this site. When prices are fixed, the cost of every option and packaged can be expressed in terms of lease payments as well (I have never leased myself) -you see that when you build your car on bmw.de. Car dealers would be among the many other franchise businesses that have to swallow dictated pricing. With enough various for regional costs, it can be done. I don't get the dumb, ritualistic dance to haggle over price.

Congrats on your new ride! She's a beauty
Sucks that you had such a crappy dealership experience. I've been working direct with the Sales Manager at BMW Seattle for my last ~8 new cars, and have always had an amazing experience. He even hooked me up with an i3 to play with for a couple of days while my X650i was in for the "not recall recall", knowing full well I wasn't going to buy one. Some dealers never seem to learn how much loyalty matters - honestly one of the (many) reasons I'd not leave BMW is the service (both pre and post sale) I've had. You'll now be an Audi customer unless they do something to lose you! |

Your S7 looks great. BMW's loss is Audi's gain. It's amazing how some dealers can be very short sighted in their interactions with potential customers.

Congrats! It's a great looking car and that 0-60 of 3.9s for a non-RS car is amazing.

Looks great, these are the best looking Audis along with the R8 and TT. I've got used to being Sat high up now and it is the low seating that me and the wife do not like. Audi interiors super though, however my F16 is up on the E70.

I was ready to buy the X5 50i ...it's really a shame the SA screwed up so bad...i even tried sending him an email that Saturday to see if he wanted to give me a deal on one that WAS on the lot. No reply at all. The interior is pretty amazing, I was not as aware of how nice it was until I drove it around for awhile at night and got to appreciate it. My biggest gripe is that the steering wheel could be slightly thicker. Otherwise HUD is wonderful, sound system (non B&O) is not gangsta rap loud, but is pleasant and full. I'll probably wait until 6000-8000 miles and put the APR Stage I tune on it. Again, y'all have been so nice....i would've loved to have been a contributing member to the F15 group... |
