Opasha, thanks for showing this to us. It seems very promising but I think coding is necessary. This can be one of the mods I can really consider doing. I like that brightness. The only downside is, as lazy as I am, it will be a little annoying to prepare to wire to connect to the car. If really deciding to do so, I'll definitely seek your advices further.

Btw, coding won't void bmw warranty, right?

It's all very easy. No, coding won't void warranty. That's also why there is a coding thread : http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1033991

I'm guessing this is true, but is this still an issue on 2017 F15's?

Thanks.

Does it flicker? I just got 2017 non-led X5 and I'm curious whether it still has an issue with flickering. Thanks,

They will flicker. It is not the bulbs fault but the system checking for burnt bulbs. You will need to code it to stop the flickering. Doubtful BMW will change something like that since its something essential.

Thanks for letting me know. I don't know anything about coding by myself so I'll leave it as it is. I hope they come with a nice led turn signal bulb totally compatible with OEM bulb. To me "error free" mean one to one replacement without flickering.

We just got a 2018 F15, and I’m having difficulty unscrewing the turn signal bulb - it is very snug, and won’t really come out. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Try push in slightly as you turn, should come off. Also, make sure you are turning to the correct direction.

BTW, no need to spend $100 on these, the amazon or ebay bulbs are the same, no error. All three will give startup hyper flash, you can simply code it off.

Yup, Had the same issue.
I had to make sure I was turning it counter-clockwise and really needed to give a good steady pull because it's new and pretty snug tight.
I installed a $19.99 LED from amazon though and so far no issues.

And of course, I had it coded to prevent the hyperflash/flickering.

Is it bright enough in sunlight? On my previous bmw I ordered led from amazon, but found out it was excellent during night, but not really up to task on bright sunshine days. Any links?

Quite bright, see my Ebay link above. Same bulbs on amazon as well.

Hey Dush!

It's bright enough I would say for both daytime and night time.

Unfortunately, the pair i bought from amazon is currently out of stock.

There should be something similar available either from amazon or eBay.
