Does anyone know how long I have to wait until I can drive after applying the foliatec paint? I can't seem to see any information on this...

I would avoid getting them wet for at least 12 hours, to ensure that the paint has fully hardened. I let mine cure for an hour between coats, and then overnight before driving...although I used different products. I also re-did the inside of the tips using matte black header paint from VHT.

Here are some pictures of before and after using foliatec spray.
Special thanks to Alan's amazing idea of using vinyl around the carbon fiber. I've implemented it around the rear diffuser and flaps.

I was going to order some from eBay UK, but it is almost $70. The product itself was 30 quid, but shipping was 40 quid!

Nice work on the tips, looks good. One of the best "mods" I've done on my F15 to date. Not a huge fan of the red vinyl trim tape, looks kinda tacky IMO.

Yeah I was kinda thinking of the same thing too. It looks great on the front, but a little different on the back. Here's a pic of the front. I must thank Alan for this as I copied his looks.

The rears look unique... The good thing is it is removable. I'd keep them on for a little to see if it grows on you! The fronts look great too!

Thanks Kzang I tried to mention Alan but his name doesn't pop up. He was kind enough to tell me what colour vinyl he used. Next on the project is carbon fiber mirror caps and fenders.

tips look great... I just sent mine to get powder coated... been to busy with work to DIY myself. even though i'm doing it for her as she said " no homie package" (getting rid of all the chrome)

the red trim reminds me of a Nissan. their Nismo edition cars.

Yeah getting rid of chrome looks nice! Does anyone here know where to get the Bmw badge emblem to have the black surrounding rather than the chrome surrounding?

Looking good. I like the red on the diffuser but not on the flaps. Might work better if you used a thinner stripe it would work better. Good thing is that the stripe is cheap and it's a diy so you can change it up whenever.

Not for me. Its one of those things where I feel like it might throw my X5 over the edge with having too much going on. I already have the red center caps and now blue MPBK calipers so not sure i want to add anymore accent colors on the car.

I'd listen to Alan.. based on his previous 4 or 5 BMW's that he modded which got a lot of attention. I can safely say that he is very good at giving the cars just the right amount of customization and not overdoing it to make it look too tacky.

iND Distribution has them.

No need to powdercoat, unless you plan on removing the exhaust (not an easy feat). Just use paint. I removed my rear bumper to make it easier vs. masking it off.

I over paid for sure 150 but they guy comes and picks it up and delivers so if you figure mileage, tolls, time, etc It was worth me paying about 75 dollars more to do drive to the shop twice.

typically you can get it done for 75 to 100 bucks

forgot to add I got the M perf exhaust. I ended going local but get bmw parts is cheaper with free shipping once you factor in taxes.
