I had adaptive xenon's on my 2011 E82 135i, and they had the illuminated LED eyebrows, so I guess the adaptive xenons on the F15 will have as well.....?

Someone on here must be able to post a piccie of theirs...?

IMO, if there's a tradeoff, pass on the lighting. It's something you won't see when you're driving... It's basically window dressing jewelry with minimum added benefits. Go for the options that gets you a better driving experience like air suspension and such.

I was debating hard about these options on a newer Cayenne. At the end of the day, I can't bring myself to pay up for Porsche's versions of these as well. (PDLS +)

I'm sure if I wasn't on this forum these sort of things would not cross my mind as I would be none the wiser
Shows that these sort of Forums can cost you loads of money.
Still interested in the differences if someone could advise.
Xenons are slightly less brighter than LED's.

With LED's you get a feature called auto high beams, when activated it turns on high beams and when you have traffic in front of you it turns off the high beams automatically. Pretty neat feature IMO especially in the back roads driving at night. With LED's in Europe you have access to anti-Dazzle feature.. Watch the video for more information.

With LED's I believe you have a total of 8 bulbs. Four on top and four on the bottom. With regular headlight on, top 4 bulbs light up ( see below pic) and with high beams on, all 8 bulbs light up. With Xenons the inner projector bulbs are fake and does not function. Hope this helps answer your question.

I think Anti-Dazzel recognizes a light source up ahead of you using the radar and optical sensors.

Don't you get these on the xenon's as well, called "High Beam Assist" which comes with the adaptive headlights - I hope so that is one reason why I opted for them

Do the xenons on the F15's have led corona lamps as the day time running lights?

Yes you do.

When I specced the adaptive xenon's on my 135i back in 2011, high beam assistant was a further extra cost option, on top of adaptive, and I didn't spec it. Now, though, it's ticked automatically, when you tick the adaptive option.
