Trailer question with adaptive M suspension
I will be towing an enclosed featherlite trailer, about 400lbs of tongue weight and am wondering how much does the air suspension compensate for the trailer weight?
The real question, do I need to add additional ball height to compensate? My old X5 would sag a good 2inches, without air suspension though. Last edited by bjcarls; 07-05-2016 at 08:29 AM.. |

The air suspension by design will work to maintain proper ride height automatically. I did not notice any sag when towing with my X5. In short you shouldn't have to raise the ball 2' to compensate.
