Depends what $299 and up means.

$300-500 sounds reasonable
Sounds like dinan is taking on a new marketing strategy.....

Why lose sales to burger? Just Make a cheaper tune
Why lose sales to meisterschaft or eisenmann? Make a muffler that cost $1800

There is only Stage 1 tune for X5 35i, for $2059. I want that DINANTRONICSELITE Stage 4 for that much

"Stage1", "Chip" or Tune... whatever you call it is basically in that price range these days... anywhere between $1200-2300 seems to be the norm these days for a tune alone along with the labor charges to install it.

I would love to see some aftermarket support on the 50i... Everything is geared towards the 35i model but the 50i gets the middle child effect and is quite often overlooked.

Elite is the already existing DINANTRONICS full solution. For the X5/6 35i it can be found at http://www.dinancars.com/product/d44...ries&mid=1210/.

Got it. I saw on the other page a starting at $1500ish price so wanted to make sure there wasn't a price reduction. Is the sport tune similar to what you would get on the mppk?

Any idea what the time frame is for the Carb exemptions to be issued for the California drivers?

Paperwork is submitted so its a waiting game. Matter of getting the call from CARB and them saying your appointment for a car to be test and to be down here is XXX and we want it to be this specific car. Could be anywhere from 2 months to a year. You never know. You are on CARB's schedule. Once the testing is done you are still waiting a month for the paperwork to be processed as well. I will note that since the SEMA lab opened up though that its gotten better still expensive, time consuming, and tedious though.

No. After our experimentation on the F10 M5 we basically came to the conclusion it was too much of a hassle to do it correctly with the fueling being a major limitation on the S63TU platform.

I assume for the "X" variants is what you are referring. If that's the case then no. DINANTRONICS (Elite) already exists and there is a chance the X5M intake may ultimately bolt on the 50i but that's about it. No plans for an exhaust as historically we sell VERY little on the application so it was deemed this generation to just not do it.

DINANTRONICS sport is relegated to NON-M, 3,4 and 6 cylinder vehicles.

It will but it would not stack the gains. You would be seeing smaller deltas on an MPPK car.

Talked to the main developer of SPORT this morning and apparently I was originally misinformed... SPORT will stack on top of MPPK.
